1. All candles are to be stored horizontally on a flat surface.

2. Candles are not to exposed to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.

3. Candles are to be used within 2 years of delivery.

4. Before lighting a new candle, ensure that the wick itself is standing upright and is not twisted.

5. Ensure that the exposed wick is trimmed to approximately 1/2” length. If the wick is shorter or longer than this length issues may occur.

6. Light the candle using a wax lighting taper, the use of matches or paper can leave extraneous materials in the candle which can cause serious burning issues.

7. When relighting a candle, ensure that the wick has not been moved from its previous burning position and that there are no foreign materials in the candle.

8. If your candle's flame is burning abnormally low, simply extinguish the candle and pare the candle down until 1/2” of wick is showing and then relight the candle.

9. Candles should not be blown out and should be extinguished using a candle snuffer. When using said snuffer take care not to damage the wick itself or the wax pool which has been created.

10. Try to keep candles away from strong draughts as this will cause the candle to gutter. If your candles as burnt in a area prone to draughts, candle caps are recommended to avoid guttering.

11. When burning candles in a confined area, a minimum of 24” should be left between the flame and any surfaces/materials.
